Refund policy

Items may be returned within 14 calendar days of the delivery date unless explicitly marked on the item's detail page.  

  • Items must be repackaged in all original packaging and returned in the condition that you received it.
  • Return shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer unless it was the result of our error or the product is defective.
  • There will be a restocking fee of 10% for all returns to cover for transaction fees incurred and shipping costs.
  • All items will be inspected upon return. If the items are found to be have been misused, mistreated or otherwise not in original condition, we reserve the right to issue a restocking fee of up to 30%. 
  • At the end of the day, we are selling collectible items to people who want to collect collectible items. Condition is important. Be polite with your merchandise and we can be polite with our policy. If you are returning an item in a condition that you would not like to receive the item in, then it is possible that we may issue a restocking fee.
  • If 14 days from the delivery date has passed, please contact us.

What is a defect?

Customers are advised to take photographs of any suspected defects or damage prior to opening, if possible.

Manufacturer defects include, but are not limited to:

  • Duplicate parts - IE. a figure comes with two left arms instead of a left arm and a right arm.
  • Missing parts - IE. a figure comes with no left leg or accessory

Manufacturer defects DO NOT include, but are also not limited to:

  • Paint and color discrepancies
  • Inability to assemble a figure - pieces too tight / loose
  • Aspects that simply pertain to the quality of the item.

Returned Packages:

Packages that are Returned to Sender due to an address issue will not be automatically re-shipped.  We will contact you when your package was returned to us.  You will receive a refund for the item only.  The original shipping fees are non-refundable.  An order will have to be placed again, if you wish to purchase the item and you will be responsible for the cost of re-shipping.  We will offer a price adjustment to match original price if it's lower than current price.

Lost, Missing, or Damaged Packages:

We have the same information as you when it comes to the tracking information, so we recommend closely monitoring the tracking information for any updates. The best, most accurate, and up to date information on the whereabouts of your package will come directly from the tracking information provided by the carrier.

If your tracking number shows that the order has been delivered but you cannot locate your package,

Please follow these steps prior to contacting us about the issue:

  • Please check with neighbors as well as other members of your household to see if anyone may have put your package aside.
  • If you live in an apartment complex, please contact your rental office to see if they are holding your package there. 
  • Please wait an additional 3 business days for your package to arrive. Packages may be marked as delivered but can be held onto if the carrier is unable to find a secure location to deliver the package. Packages can also be scanned too early and may take a few business days to actually be delivered.
  • If your order was shipped via USPS, please also check with your local post office to see if they have your package.  The manager at your local post office has access to gps location of where your carrier dropped off the package.  If you see your mailman he can definitely look up the drop off location with his scanner, just provide him with the tracking number.

Anime Sekai is not responsible for lost or missing/stolen packages.  But we will help you file a claim with the carrier.  Claims can be completely approved or approved in part, or fully denied.  Whatever amount we get, we give you back.

For USPS, if you purchased Priority Mail, a claim can be filed after 15 days from the mailing date and before 60 days.  If it by USPS Ground Advantage, a claim can be filed after 45 days and before 1 year.

For damaged packages, please take a picture of the shipping box, and then the actual damaged item.  We can file a claim immediately, but must file no later than 60 days after the mailing date.  Most orders are only insured up to $100.  Statues with higher values $200 and up will have additional insurance.
